Testimonials

Chris Goodman conducted an extensive renovation of a late-1970’s house that involved complete renovation of kitchen and dining areas, extensive re-flooring of 1st floor, complete renovation of 3 bathrooms (two full baths and one powder room), creation of a new laundry area, and the addition of detailed interior trim throughout.

We were impressed about every facet of Chris’s work. Though young, he is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of construction and has a good understanding of the phases of the work to be done, from start to finish. He is a skilled craftsmen, who can pull-off difficult effects with style, and he is a meticulous craftsman, who insists on doing work correctly without cutting corners. This speaks to his integrity. It was nice to have a contractor like Chris working on our project because we were always confident that he would do things the right way. Chris has the main qualities we are looking for in a contractor: honest, highly-skilled, thorough knowledge of the profession, reasonably priced, punctual, and neat. It would be impossible to endorse or recommend Chris Goodman more highly.

From Angie’s List: If I could ever recommend someone it would be Chris. Do not let his age or young appearance stop you from making your decision. He has the skills and work ethic like no other contractor I have dealt with over the years. His detail in every respect is excellent. He is punctual, courteous and he becomes a part of your family for the short time he does the work he contracted. He did such awesome work we kept adding more things to the job and each one was no different then our major Kitchen renovation. It is all about detail and integrity. He is Honest, reliable and talented. What more would you want from the contractor working in your home? Wish I could have rated him with A+’s.

It was a pleasure working with Chris Goodman. This was an extensive kitchen remodel with everything coming out of the kitchen and starting from scratch. We also removed the load-bearing wall between our kitchen and living room. Chris made sure the project was completed on time and we stayed within our budget. He was there every step of the way. He scheduled and managed all the various workers who came to do their various jobs (demo, plumbing, electrical, tile) Chris made sure we were happy with our new kitchen/living room – and we are! We love it! I would highly recommend Chris for any job you have.

Chris recently remodeled our 1950’s kitchen and we couldn’t be happier with the result. His prices are fair and his quality of craftsmanship is superior and far exceeds the typical “builders
grade.” Because he is professionally trained, Chris is able to offer new ideas and advice as to what will both look and function best. More importantly, he uses quality materials that will withstand the test of time. Chris is a true professional and I give him the highest of recommendations.

Dear Chris, I want to thank you for the wonderful job you did on our new front steps and handrails. You are a pleasure to work with for a number of reasons. First, you’re a good craftsman which is most important. In addition to your skill you are great at getting back to me and you do what you say you will do. You also are a fine person to deal with. I look forward to more projects in the future. Thanks.

We used Chris Goodman of C. Goodman Carpentry for some carpentry work at our home. He framed out some new sky lights in our master bedroom and in our sun room. We were very happy with his workmanship. The frames were beautifully crafted and enhanced the entire look of the skylights. Chris is courteous and very neat. His bid was competitive and fair. We would definitely use him again and would recommend him for any carpentry work to our friends and neighbors.

We recently moved to Belmont, an over-55 community in Bethel Township, Delaware County, PA. The large basement was unfinished, and we decided to have it completed. We engaged Mr. Christopher Goodman, who trained at The Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades, and we are very happy that we did so. He is knowledgeable and responsible.

Mr. Goodman prepared detailed plans for our review, and discussed several options that could affect the budget. He assisted us in the selection of materials. The work required coordination with other trades, and Mr. Goodman’s interaction with plumbers and painters resulted in seamless progress throughout the entire project. The project was completed to our total satisfaction. We are very pleased with the job, and most happy to recommend Mr. Goodman.
